Fortunately, replacing your Conga's housing battery is a relatively simple process. In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to change your Conga's battery so you can enjoy optimal performance from your robot vacuum cleaner once again.
Step 1: Preparation Before you begin, make sure you have a compatible replacement battery for your Conga 6090. Turn off the Conga and disconnect it from the power source. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the housing.
Step 2: Unscrew the plastic part that holds the cables.
Step 3: Remove the battery from inside the housing.
Step 4: Cut the old battery cable, leaving about 5cm of margin from the solder on the board.
Step 5: Strip the 2 terminals of the housing cable and the 2 terminals of the new battery. Insert the heat-shrink tubes into each cable.
Step 6: Twist the stripped wires together to create a connection. It is recommended to solder the connections to secure them.
Step 7: Lay the connection flat and slide the heat-shrink tube over the connection.
Step 8: Heat the heat-shrink tube with a lighter or heat gun to create a secure connection.
Step 9: Pass the cables through the output slot and screw the retaining piece back in.
Step 10: Charging the New Battery
With the battery replaced, it is recommended to fully charge it before using your Conga again.
Step 11: Once the battery is fully charged, disconnect the Conga from the power source and perform a test to ensure everything is working correctly. You are now ready to enjoy your Conga with a renewed battery and optimal performance!
